Getting Started
AREC is a personal AI agent that runs in the cloud. No installation required — just sign up, choose your model, and start chatting. Add skills from ClawHub to extend what AREC can do.
1. Create your account
Click Launch AREC Free on the homepage. Enter your email to join the waitlist or sign up directly when the app is live.
2. Choose your model
AREC runs on two open-source models:

3. Install your first skill
Go to ClawHub and browse by category. Click + Install on any skill pack to activate it instantly.

Skills are modular capability packs that extend what AREC can do. Each skill is a structured document that gives AREC new knowledge, workflows, and behavior for a specific domain.
Think of skills like apps on a phone — AREC is the OS, skills are the apps you install.
